The reality about economic reconciliation

Again, care must be taken whenever using the word reconciliation. 'Reality' is a much more appropriate and safer term to use.

First Nation and other Indigenous peoples are aware of the critical role economics is playing in the reality of First Nation Indian resesrve communities.

The path forward is complex: while band offices and subsidiary economic development corporations can pose challenges, they remain essential to the growth and governance of First Nation communities.

While Canada’s 5% procurement initiative has fallen short of expectations, the full economic potential of First Nation peoples has yet to be witnessed.

Indigenous Insight Seeking TWO Pilot Project Partnerships

Chambers of commerce across Canada are directly reflected in the content of the Indigenous Engagement App—because this is where non-Indigenous businesses, the primary audience, gather. Indigenous Insight is intentionally stepping into the lion’s den to reach the places where ignorance, silence, and inaction are most persistent.

To drive real change, Indigenous Insight is seeking to partner with TWO (2) chamber of commerce organizations in the delivery of this powerful Indigenous engagement training to their business communities. Any partnership involving Indigenous Insight will be mutually beneficial.
