While videoconference sessions can never fully match the effectiveness of in-person, face-to-face interactions, Indigenous Insight, aware of the complex nature of Indigenous engagement in Canada has always been committed to offering videoconference sessions that clarify the complicated issues in the Indigenous engagement space. An obvious barrier to reconciliation in Canada is a general lack of awareness among non-Indigenous Canadians regarding Indigenous issues. This is not entirely the fault of non-Indigenous Canadians, but more a reflection of the shortcomings in Canada's education system. Many non-Indigenous Canadians struggle to understand or relate to the experiences of First Nations people in Canada. Addressing this ignorance requires education and training, but it also necessitates fostering critical thinking and evolving thought processes to move beyond mere awareness.
